# David Steicke Wins $100,000 AUD Challenge

23 high rollers bought into the AUD $100,000 No Limit Hold'em challenge at the Crown Casino in Melbourne earlier this week. The six-personfinal table featured reigning WSOPE Main Event champion John Juanda. Unfortunately, the talented Indonesian-born headed out of the event early.

His sixth place finish was dealt at the hands of JC Tran. Tran, who gave eventual champion David Steicke quite a tough time, hit the rail in third position. This left Tony Bloom at a severe chip disadvantage to Steicke (10 to 1). Steicke held on tight to the lead and won the tournament as well as SUD $1,200,000.
