JC Tran grabs second bracelet by winning the 2009 WSOP Event # 30

There was a time when JC Tran was considered a prime candidate for the title of “most deserving poker player who never wins” as he made final table after final table, even managing many a heads up showdown for a title in the WSOP, WPT and elsewhere, without taking it all the way.

He broke that streak a couple of years ago and has never looked back.

His victory in the World Poker Tour in 2007 finalized what the poker world already knew – JC Tran was a dangerous, powerful poker pro, and he was here to stay. Now here it is 2009 and he has picked up his second World Series of Poker bracelet, this time in a $2,500 Pot Limit Omaha event, proving that he isn't just a one- game pony.
