Party Poker does their shootouts a little differently.

Tonight at 8pm ET Party Poker will be hosting a scheduled event in their No Limit Texas Hold 'em tournament named "Shootout". The entry fee is $33 including the site fee, there are no rebuys or add-ons, and late registration will not be available. This is not a turbo or speed tournament as the blinds will only be increasing every 15 minutes.

The non-standard 'Shootout' format is what makes this tournament unique as Party Poker is a bit different than other sites. As usual tables are not collapsed in shootout formats until a set number of remaining players is reached at each table. But in Party Poker's case, that set number is 3 players remaining at each table before the round advances for the first three rounds. When round 4 is reached, the tournament becomes a standard multi-table tournament.

Registration with Party Poker is free and required to play in this tournament.
